I accepted the Lord as my savior as a young man and have been married to my high school sweetheart, Ruth Ann, for over 50 years. After graduating from the University of Tennessee, I went to work in my family business in Danville, PA. As a second-generation Chevrolet dealer, I strived to run a business that was honoring to God. After a half-century in the business, I have retired.
I feel strongly that a Christian education is an investment in our children. All four of my children attended Christian school at some point in their lives. My interest in The Cornerstone Christian School started when my granddaughter enrolled in preschool there. Seeing her graduate from high school was one of the proudest moments of my life. I recognized that the quality of education and spiritual guidance that she and her younger sister received at Cornerstone was second to none.
I also realized that huge sacrifices have been made by the teachers and administrators of The Cornerstone Christian School. Recently, I felt the Lord’s leading to investigate the possibility of helping the school develop a strategy to improve its financial situation with less stress. I attended training sessions with a school director to develop a plan.
We will endeavor with God’s leading to find individuals, corporations, industries, and local companies who believe in quality education with a biblically based worldview to partner with us to take the school to the next level. Please pray for the Lord’s provision for Cornerstone Educational Support, Inc. as we seek to provide aid to The Cornerstone Christian School.
Cornerstone Educational Support, Inc. is a 501(c)(3). Per our letter of determination from the IRS, "Donors can deduct contributions they make to [us] under IRC Section 170 [specifically, IRC 170(b)(1)(A)(vi)]. [We are] also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, transfers or gifts under Section 2055, 2106, or 2522."
Our FEIN is 93-1543512. Additionally, per our Public Charity Registration # CHR.0067540, the State of Connecticut has granted us permission (effective November 1, 2023) to solicit charitable donations, including fundraising in Connecticut.
